Your HVAC equipment is a large investment and a substantial
portion of the cost of your facilities. You know when
it is not operating correctly because you either feel
the problem or your employees or tenants let you know
that they do. A costly and inconvenient breakdown is,
however, often your first indication of a problem.
Just like other sophisticated mechanical equipment,
if it is to operate without frequent breakdowns and
last, it must have proper routine maintenance. Maintenance
performed by a qualified technician who has a mapped
out plan of what is to be done, what is to be inspected,
and what the performance expectations the equipment
are.
You as the customer should expect that your equipment
be kept in good operating condition and that you be kept
aware of signs of wear, poor performance, and possible
problems.
